TERMS OF PLAY

Version 2026-09-21. These are the rules you accept when you enter a paid match.

WHO CAN PLAY

You are 18 or older.
You are not in a blocked country. Blocked now: CU, IR, KP, SY. The server decides from your connection's country, not from a checkbox. Unknown locations and anonymizing networks are refused.
You are responsible for the law where you are. If online wagering on games of skill is not allowed where you live, do not play for ETH.
One person, one wallet, no bots in paid matches. A match the server flags for cheating is held for review before any payout; it can be aborted, and then every deposit in it becomes refundable from the contract. The operator never rewrites a settlement.

The Merry Pit is a game of skill. Two or four players shoot arrows; kills and survival decide the payouts by fixed math you can read on the rules page.
You choose a wager tier. Every player in the match deposits the same amount of ETH into a per-match escrow contract on Robinhood Chain before the match starts.
The house takes 10% of each deposit. Everything else is paid back out to the players of that match. The house never plays.
Free play and practice cost nothing and pay nothing.

Your deposit sits in the escrow contract, not with us, until the match settles. Settlement is posted by our operator and the contract only accepts a payout list that adds up to the pot.
If a match never starts or is not settled, you can refund yourself from the contract after 6 hours, without asking us. A settlement under review can delay that once by 48 hours.
Payouts are credited in the contract and you withdraw them yourself. Nothing is sent automatically to your wallet.
Gas is yours. Wrong network, wrong wallet or a rejected transaction is not a lost deposit: use the recovery page at /me.
We hold no key that can move your escrow to us. We cannot reverse a settled match.

Paid play needs no token. Holding it unlocks cosmetic skins only.
Staking, once opened by the team, pays eligible stakers a share of the house rake actually earned. It is not a yield, not a guaranteed return and not a share of deposits. Opening staking is a one-time decision of the team; there is no promised date.
The token is not an investment contract with us and we make no promise about its price.

The game and the contracts are provided as they are. We can take the game server down for maintenance or incidents; your escrow rights in the contract do not depend on our server.
We are not affiliated with Robinhood. Robinhood Chain is the network the contracts run on, nothing more.
A testnet build says so on every page and uses no real money. These terms bind only real-money play on mainnet.
We may change these terms. A new version has a new date, and you accept it again before your next paid match.
